Knowing where to start when it comes time to filming seems like a tricky task without experience.

Luckily, there are a few simple, sure-fire steps to film great looking shots, right off the bat.

Speaking shots 

Speaking shots include interviews, piece to cameras or any shots where a speaker is the main focus.

Action shots

Action shots are often referred to as B-roll, cutaways or overlay shots. These are commonly used to play over the top of a speaking shot to build out a scene and create a more engaging video.
